Republic Property Group sells last tract in Phillips Creek Ranch

On paper, Dallas-based Republic Property Group thought the master-planned community developer would sell the last tract within the already buzzed-about $1.6 billion Phillips Creek Ranch community in Frisco by 2021. Instead, the development firm recently sold the last tracts of land within the 950-acre master-planned community to home builders six years ahead of schedule.

Transplants to North Texas boosting sales at billion-dollar communities

It’s been difficult to keep speculative homes at the ready for the executive clientele eyeing $1.5 billion Phillips Creek Ranch master-planned community in Frisco and $1.6 billion Light Farms master-planned community in Celina. But it hasn’t been for lack of trying. Dallas-based Republic Property Group has seen an “extraordinarily high sales pace” at the community, said Tony Ruggeri, a co-CEO and partner of Republic Property Group, which is overseeing the development of Phillips Creek Ranch and Light Farms.
