You’ll have to head all the way to Celina to check it out
After shuttering his Lower Greenville eatery Wayward Sons earlier this year, Chef Graham Dodds has managed to stay busy. Now, the chef will join a new farm-adjacent eatery all the way up in Celina.
Dodds is in charge of developing the menu for The Farm Stand Cafe & Market, a restaurant that will open inside Celina’s Light Farms. The menu will serve up fresh ingredients sourced from local farms, and an adjacent market will offer a selection of coffee, cheeses, meats, organic produce, and snacks, also largely sourced from local purveyors.
It’s a good fit for the farm-obsessed chef, who also helped develop the menu for Quincy’s Chicken Shack in Coppell after the closure of Wayward Sons. On the market side, a sourcing manager with experience at Central Market and meal kit delivery service Blue Apron will be in charge of curating the selection of take-home goods.
The Farm Stand is expected to make its debut in Celina in Fall 2017.
